About Us

The Lou Lemire Summer Hockey Skills Camp started in the summer of 2003 with only 51 players, 2 groups and only one 90 minute session per group for 5 days. The second year, the camp exploded to include 5 groups and over 140 players. Our 3rd summer we made the jump to a FULL DAY CAMP complete with 2 ice sessions, an off ice shooting centre, floor hockey, off ice activities, a lunch program, track suits, t-shirts, stickers, and much, much more. We celebrate the end of each week with a pizza/pop party and a special gift presented to each participant. 

We are very proud to say that we are now offering 5 camps in 5 locations throughout beautiful British Columbia. This summer will see our 10th Annual in Summerland, 5th Annual in Prince Rupert, our 4rd Annual in Port McNeill, 2nd year in Castlegar and our 2nd year in Nelson.

As we continue to grow and expand each summer, we continue to focus on our goals of offering a camp that is affordable and a camp that offers very high quality instruction. Some of the main instructors are teachers who have played Junior and University/College hockey who focus on individual skill development with an emphasis on making the camp fun.
