General Information

Welcome to the Lou Lemire Summer Hockey Skills Camp. This fall
will mark our 1st annual in Grand Forks. Since it’s inception in 2003 the camp has grown every year due to the quality of the program and the high quality of instruction from a great staff. All the lead instructors are teachers who have played Junior and or University
Hockey.

My philosophy is to provide a camp that is affordable with an emphasis on improving individual skills and making hockey fun. I invite you to come and experience the difference.

If you have any questions please give me a call or drop me an email. I can be reached at 250-493-6069 or by email at llemire@telus.net.

Camp Includes:

· Intensive power skating instruction

· Focus on individual skill development such as passing, stickhandling, read/react drills and more

· Shooting/Scoring techniques

· Dryland Training – 1 hour per day with agility ladders, parachutes, hurdles and more

Saturday - 2 hours of on ice instruction

Sunday - 2 hours of on ice instruction

Ice & Dryland Schedule: TBA

Age Groups Available

· The camp is open to players 6 years old and older

with all sessions being co-ed.

(We reserve the right to regroup or reschedule according to enrollment and ability)

Equipment requirements: Full hockey equipment is required including helmet, facial protector, throat protector, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, athletic supporter, belt for socks, shin pads, socks, hockey pants, skates, stick and a water bottle. All goaltenders must supply their own equipment.

Off ice dry land requirements: All players must wear running shoes, shorts and a t-shirt. I also recommend a hat and sunglasses.

All equipment should be clearly marked or initialled.

The management or instructors are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.

Meals are not provided. I recommend you pack a snack.

All discipline issues will be dealt with severely. Parents will be contacted and a decision will be made regarding the future participation in the camp.

Thank you very much for your support! It is greatly appreciated!
