Camp Information

General Information-July 19-24, 2020
Age Group (6 Years Old and Older) with all sessions being co-ed. -To register click the links above.

Camp Includes:

  • Intensive Power Skating Instruction

  • Focus on individual skill development such as passing, stickhandling, read/react drills and more

  • Shooting & Scoring Techniques

  • Dryland Training-Includes agility ladders, parachutes, hurdles and more

  • Shooting Skills Centre

  • Floor Hockey Centre

  • Stickhandling Skills Centre

  • Scrimmage & Mini Games.


Goaltending Program Featuring;

  • Individualized Goaltending Skills

  • Specialized Goaltending Drills

  • Lots of 1 on 1 instruction with goaltending instructor!

The tentative camp schedule is attached. We reserve the right to reschedule and/or regroup without notice.

  • Equipment requirements: Full hockey equipment is required including helmet, facial protector, throat protector, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, athletic supporter, belt for socks, shin pads, socks, hockey pants, skates, stick and a water bottle. All goaltenders must supply their own equipment.

  • Off ice dryland requirements: All players must wear running shoes, shorts and a t-shirt. I also recommend a hat and sunglasses.

  • All equipment should be clearly marked or initialed

  • The management or instructors are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.

  • Meals are not provided. I recommend you pack a snack.

  • Camp Store: We will be having a Camp Store which will be open on a minimum basis where we will be selling t-shirts, hoodies, long sleeve shirts, hats, mini sticks, sock tape, etc, etc. (On a limited basis we will also try and have water, Gatorade, pop, chips and granola bars for sale).

  • If you have any questions, concerns, comments, please be aware that I will be on the ice for all the sessions, so I ask your patience in giving me time to look after the situation.

  • All discipline issues will be dealt with severely. Parents will be contacted and a decision will be made regarding the future participation in the camp.

Check-In Information

On Sunday all players and parents must be at Summerland arena to receive their information package & Jersey. 

Location: Summerland Arena & Curling Club

10:00-11:30 AM - Sunday Clinic - Group 1 (only for those who have signed up) 

11:00-11:30 AM - Sign in and pick up registration package

11:30--11:55 AM - Family Skate (Please bring your helmets)

12:00 PM - Opening Ceremonies & Door Prizes
                - Check out concession and Hockey Camp Clothing
                     - Pizza & Pop for sale for lunch

12:45-2:15 PM - Sunday Clinic - Group 2 (only for those who have signed up)

Specialized Clinic

Clinic (Sunday)-1 Day Only

Shooting & Scoring Clinic

Cost: $ 20.00

Participants must be registered in the camp to qualify for discounted clinic pricing.

This is a one day only session, which will be for 1 hour 30 minutes on Sunday.   

Shooting/Scoring: Players will improve scoring techniques as well as improving speed and accuracy of the wrist, snap,
flip, and slap shot.
